ABOUT ME
Everyone thinks they are creative. They think they know color. They think they can draw. I usually smile politely and agree with them as I quietly work on my own work. I LOVE design, but I never really thought being creative was anything that would translate into a career. Growing up, I painted my room a minimum of five times over the years (in totally different themes each time), I loved (and still do) to shop at Goodwill for clothes that I could "upgrade" into something better, and I swooned every time I got a new box of crayons or colored pencils (and yes, I had a lot of them!).

It wasn't until I got to college and took a drawing class that I really started to think that I could actually be successful in a design career. I LOVED it, and it wasn't hard for me. I added a design class to my schedule the next semester, and was instantly hooked. I am currently a graphic design student at the University of Iowa where I am perfecting my skills with the ambition to make a positive impact on the world through my work.

I think I'm creative, and I hope after viewing my work, that you do too!
